Groceries and Expenses:

You are responsible for reimbursing for groceries and other related expenses (e.g. food storage containers, parking). For this reason, your bill will vary each time I cook for you.

Grocery and expense payment is due on the cooking day.

Payment Methods:

Payments can be made via check or credit card.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your service. If you are booking weekly or monthly cooking, the deposit is 50% of the first week’s or month’s fee.

The remainder (cooking + groceries) is due at the event or on the cooking day.

Refunds will be issued when it is impossible to reschedule or provide an equivalent remedy. Refunds will be issued in the client’s own payment method within 10 business days of agreement.

Schedule Changes:

Because I commit my time to your family, last-minute schedule changes are not permitted.

All schedule changes must be made with at least 7 business days notice. Schedule changes made with less than 7 business days notice will be charged 50% of the cooking fee.

Should you or I have the need to cancel the service once this agreement is signed, all efforts will be made to reschedule within one month of the original event date.

For regular cooking, locations over 15 miles from my address (zip code 20011) will incur a $75 charge. For parties, locations over 20 miles from my address (zip code 20011) will incur a $75 charge.

Client Duties

Meal Planning:

In order to give enough time to adequately prepare, the menu must be set no later than 2 days in advance.

I will send you customized options 3 days in advance, and we will set the menu during a phone meeting the following day. Cancelling our planning meeting, or failure to set the menu with 2 days notice, may result in a cancellation.

Kitchen Prep:

On the morning of the cooking day, the dishwasher, sink, stove, and counters must be clear and clean. I will leave your sink, stove, and counters clear and clean too! If I fill the dishwasher more than halfway, I will run the washing cycle.
